The Monument to the Battle of the Nations is easily accessible by public transport (tram line 15, trains S1/S2/S3).

There are also plenty of free parking spaces.

Barrier-free access

Access to the park area and the monument is barrier-free for wheelchair users. Elevators take you up to the inner gallery at a height of 47 meters. Wheelchair users can also enjoy the phenomenal panoramic view via glazed windows.

Guidance System for Visually Impaired People

Our Guidance System for Visually Impaired People takes you from the footpath across the park area to the central information point on the foundation level. The routing in the monument is supplemented by information in Braille on the handrails. A 91 centimeter high, scale-appropriate, detailed tactile model helps blind and visually impaired guests explore the monument for the first time. Guide dogs are allowed entry.

You can find out more about our inclusive offers under Education.

Taking dogs with you

Dogs are allowed in the monument park on a leash. However, only trained assistance dogs are permitted to enter the monument.

Bistro

The bistro and outdoor seating area can be visited daily from April to October from 10 AM to 6 PM and from November to March from 10 AM to 4 PM.
